5 years of reckonable residence in Ireland (4 years qualifying residence + 1 continuous year immediately before application)
Legal and continuous residence throughout the qualifying period
Good character requirement (subject to Garda vetting)
Intention to continue living in Ireland
Willingness to attend citizenship ceremony and make declaration of fidelity
